 Policies & Procedures

Club158 fosters a harmonious environment where children feel safe. Please review these guidelines with your child so they may enjoy the program. All children should:

  • Cooperate with CLUB158 supervisors and instructors
  • Be courteous and respectful with their instructors and classmates during class,

Unacceptable behaviors include using profanity, disrespecting others, failure to comply with directions, and other inappropriate behaviors. CLUB158 may report incidents of unacceptable behavior to the parents/guardians of all children. If your child becomes disruptive it may result in a suspension of the child’s next CLUB158 class. If the behavior continues it could lead up to dismissal from CLUB158. CLUB158 reserves the right to remove a child from the program for unacceptable behavior.




We cannot refund for missed classes and no make-up classes are offered.



Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please note: Club158 is not in session on holidays. CLUB158 is unable to offer make-up classes or refunds for classes cancelled due to holidays.

  • 100% of the tuition will be refunded (less pro-rated fee for classes attended) if you withdraw the student AND notify us, in writing, by November 23, 2020 ($10 registration fee is non-refundable)
  • No refunds will be issued after these dates.

We reserve the right to cancel classes with insufficient enrollment. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, we will be happy to place your child in an alternative class or refund your tuition.



Summary of Tuition & Fees:

  • Registration fee per student, per semester (non-refundable): $10
  • Tuition per class/per semester: as specified
  • Returned check fee: $30



If you would like to enroll in a class that is full then you may register for the waitlist and you will be contacted of any openings.

Online instructions for NEW CLUB158 families: this link is different than the link for previously registered families. Information will be posted on our website, prior to the start of online registration.


Online instructions for CLUB158 previously enrolled families: Families who have enrolled in CLUB158 (drop-in classes included) in the last year must complete online registration through our CLUB 158 portal. Please be sure to update your child/children’s classroom information. The link to the portal is through our website at under the CLUB158 Registration Portal.

  • Your log-in ID is your email address
  • You can request a new password by clicking the “I don’t know my password” link
  • If you do not receive an email with a temporary password, please check your spam folder
  • Once you have logged into your account, you will be greeted with a message asking you to agree to the terms and conditions of CLUB158 by typing your full name in the box at the bottom of the pop-up message. We must have your “electronic signature” to the terms and conditions for your registration to be valid.



 Fall 2020 All Virtual Class Catalog






 Chess Club (K-1) Tri-State Chess - 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Beginner students will learn chess fundamentals such as piece movements, notation and basic opening strategy. More advanced students will learn about checkmates, as well as attacking and defending ideas.

 Tuition: $300, class is limited to 8 children



 Chess Club (2-5) Tri-State Chess - 4:45pm to 5:45pm

Beginner students will learn chess fundamentals such as piece movements, notation and basic opening strategy. More advanced students will learn about checkmates, as well as attacking and defending ideas.

Drama Club A (3-5) Broadway Bound Kids - 3:30pm to 4:30pm

In this fast-paced class, students work together toward two musicals each year. In the Fall, the student ensemble devises an original script built around three existing songs. In the Spring, students learn and perform a Broadway Jr. musical! While we are hoping to be in-person by spring, we are excited to utilize the virtual tools virtual this fall like breakout rooms for small group work, and virtual backgrounds to set the scene! Students will learn and expand skills in singing, acting, dancing, and technical elements vital in creating a successful performance. Being a part of this theater family means working as an ensemble by actively supporting one another, increasing capacity for risk taking and self discovery in a safe environment, and most importantly building a special community that belongs to each and every student.

 Tuition: $270, class is limited to 12 children








Game Animation Lab (Coding) (3-5) NYUpperEast STEM For Kids - 4:00pm to 5:00pm 

Learn animation and coding in this instructor-led online program. In this course, students will learn the basics of coding using Scratch interface. They will then use this and enhance their creative skills to animate their games and share it with the rest of their class. Students will learn Critical thinking, Collaboration, Creativity and Computational skills. They will interact with the instructors and other students in the virtual classrooms while showcasing their skills. The purpose of this course is to learn the coding skills that allow you to understand and create computer games. Activities include: We R Programming, Role Playing Game Fun, Looping Through Scratch, Jumping Platform Game, Conditionals, and Building Your Own Game.
